1. Who manages The Woniora?

The Woniora is operated by Becton Woniora Pty Ltd which is a wholly owned subsidiary of Becton Property Group (Becton), an ASX listed diversified property company. Over the past three decades, Becton has earned a reputation for creating "best of class" property solutions that "stand the test of time". Becton has a strong record in property development and construction, property funds management and retirement village ownership and operation.

Becton will manage The Woniora and be involved in every aspect of the operation of all the facilities, the activities, maintenance of the buildings and grounds, running of the restaurant/cafe and assisting the residents in every way they can.

3. What about organised social activity?

At The Woniora you can choose to do as much or as little as you wish. There will be the opportunity to join numerous clubs and interest groups organised and run by residents, such as travel and walking clubs or cards and bridge clubs. Our on-site Village Manager will also be on hand to help you start up any groups or activities of your choice.

4. What dining options are available at The Woniora?

There will be a choice of dining options from The Woniora's restaurant. For more relaxed eating there is the cafe as well as a bar for casual refreshments. Special dietary requirements can of course be accommodated.

5. Is The Woniora convenient to Wahroonga's shopping village and amenities?

The Woniora's central location in Wahroonga makes it convenient to the very best in local amenities. Wahroonga Village is only 500m from The Woniora and makes for a pleasant commute to a mix of stylish yet relaxed local cafes and shops. A selection of Golf Clubs including Pymble, Avondale and North Turramurra are all within 10 minutes of The Woniora, as are the bowls clubs of Hornsby and Warrawee. Hornsby Ku-Ring-Gai hospital is also only 2.1km away.
